Gourmand World Cookbook Award Winners

We are delighted to announce that Demet Güzey’s Mustard: A Global History and Dining Out: A Global History of Restaurants by Katie Rawson and Elliott Shore have won prizes at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Dining Out is the UK winner in the Book for Professionals category, while Demet Güzey scooped the award for the best book on spices and herbs. They now qualify to compete for the Best in the World title with winners from 225 countries.



About the awards
The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau. Every year, they honour the best food and wine books. In 2020, they will celebrate 25 years of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards with events in China and in Paris.
