Bountiful Empire nominated for Gourmand Award

We are delighted to announce that Bountiful Empire: A History of Ottoman Cuisine by Priscilla Mary Işin has been shortlisted for a Gourmand World Cookbook Award.

Işin’s fresh and lively account of Ottoman cuisine will compete with 11 other titles in the Culinary History category. The winners of the award will be announced at the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, which will be held at the Macao International Book Fair in July 2019.
